Create Mobile Sub-Domain

Hello,

Has anyone created a mobile sub-domain with their WP installation – one that uses the same database? Several plug-ins will switch the theme if a mobile browser is recognized, but I have seen one that supports doing so on a sub-domain.

Has anyone successfully implemented this? If so, can you tell me what mobile plugin you used and how you go the mobile domain to read from the existing WP install?
