New 2.9.1 increased my Spam x100!

  • I dont know what happened, but ever since I upgraded from 2.8.6 or whatever to 2.9.1 im getting like 20 comments to my Spam folder a day when I used to get 1 to 2 a week! My recaptcha plugins, and akismet, etc are still working as far as I know. Anyone having similar issues?

  • No, but are you having problems emptying your spam folder? Whenever I click Empty Spam, it takes like 20 seconds to perform the task and half the time it does not work.

    Hmm nope my “empty spam” can clear 35+ messages in about a second.
