How to fix disapproved products?

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

The plugin grabs the WooCommerce product stock status which is either “Out of stock”, “In stock” or “On backorder” and uses that for your feed. This should be the same as shown in the structured data on your website. Are you running a 3th party plugin that can effect the availability/stock status on your website or structured data?

I checked the WooCommerce product data and it correctly says out of stock but the raw feed information lists that same product as in stock. What kind of third party plugins would I be looking out for?

There are dozens of plugins that do ‘something’ with stock statuses.

Can you share the following with us:

• The product feed URL
• A product ID for which this is happening that I can find in your feed
• The product edit page of that specific simple or variation product where the stock status is showing on

One such disapproved product has an ID of 2128.

I am not sure what you mean for this question. But below is the page for the item whose ID is 2128. You can see it it listed as out of stock.

Both the feed and your website show this product as out of stock. Product ID 2128 is a variation (medium).

It is this product variation:

So they all show as out of stock and align. Am I misunderstanding the issue at hand here?

Inside Merchant Center, for that item, the raw feed data looks like this and says it is in stock. Maybe I am misunderstanding but that seems to be a mismatch in availability?

Hi Ian,

As shown in the previous screenshots I shared there is no mismatch. Perhaps you made changes to the feed, updated it but didn’t Google yet fetch and reprocessed the feed?

I did create a supplemental feed with the correct availability for the disapproved products. This solved all issues and all products were then approved. I later removed my supplemental feed so that all product data came from the main feed from your plugin and the number of disapproved items immediately went from 0 to 7.

And that is where I am at right now.

Well your feed is fine and so is your website. You can invite [email protected] to your merchant center if you like so we can have a look for you?

Let me see if Merchant Centre updates itself within 24 hours and if the products are approved or not.

Hi Ian,

You can trigger a fetch and reprocessing of the feed yourselves in the merchant center. You do not have to wait for Google to do this.

I did that.

It says on the feed processing screen that all products were counted and 0 had issues.

Yet, on the Overview screen, 7 products are still disapproved.

Here, the dip where there is no red, was when I added my supplemental feed, and then when I removed it, the red appeared (those 7 products). It also says that the feed is a CSV file – is that correct?

Ok, in that case I would indeed wait up to a day to see if the products are approved again. This could take some time.

I checked Merchant Centre again and no change. Still those same 7 products with an availability mismatch. Is there anything I can do inside your plugin (free version) to fix this? I assume an easy fix would be to access the product data from inside your plugin and change it manually – but I believe that is a paid feature?

Is that correct?
