We are having the exact same issue. Running the latest Stripe version (4.5.5) with the latest woocommerce (4.7.1) and WordPress (5.5.3). It is not visible at checkout.

What does your logging show? Woocommerce -> Status -> Logs. Choose the latest woocommerce stripe logs in the drop down menu (might need to scroll down in the dropdown menu)

    Hi there @chris1080

This sounds like either the Stripe plugin is not completely setup following this guide , or there’s a conflict on the site that is causing this.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Hi @chris1080

Taking a look at your screenshot – you don’t have Stripe active at all.

    Can you confirm
    a) The WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin is installed and active?
    b) The payment gateway is enabled via WooCommerce > Settings > Payments

I’m asking this as your screenshot shows both PayPal and Bank Transfer but no Stripe area.

    To clarify this point

I cannot enter bank details or paypal.

This is as expected and the reason I say this is that those two payment methods are working as expected

The Direct Bank Transfer is an “offline” payment gateway – the customer selects the option as shown in your screenshot and then selects “Place Order” – they will then get an email with instructions on how to manually transfer the funds. More details here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/bacs/

For the PayPal payment gateway – this is also correct, that method has been chosen and the button changed to “Proceed to PayPal”. Once the customer is on PayPal.com, they will be able to enter payment details.

    Thanks,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
