    Hi
I tried a bunch of different ways.
When I uncheck the “apply watermark” box, I can download the PDF correctly, but obviously there is no watermark. But once I check the box to activate the watermark, I can’t download the PDFs anymore. No error message, just a blank tab on my Firefox browser and no download popup.

    Here is the debug log
PHP Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 2204 in /home/ludosol/www/wp-content/plugins/waterwoo-pdf/inc/tcpdi/tcpdi_parser.php (on lines 803 807 915)

    Thanks for your assistance!

    Hi @admin7583

Have you tried marking any other PDFs? This issue likely boils down to a particular PDF.

It seems TCPDI is having difficulty with the syntax of your PDF. Only thing that sometimes works for that, we’ve found, is exporting the PDF using Apple Preview application “export as PDF.” Otherwise, if your PDF has awkward syntax and can’t be read as a PDF, not much can be done to convince the computer to do otherwise. There are millions of ways to create a PDF, but not millions of methods of reading them. You can read a little more in the www.ads-software.com WaterWoo PDF FAQ.

    It seems you’re right.
I export my PDFs through Scribus, and apparently that’s what causes the problem.
I will try to find other export solutions as you suggested and keep you posted.
    Thanks for your quick reply.
(Although I use windows so not sure I can use Apple Preview…)

No, that’s okay. I gave up using the plugin after all.
    Thanks for your help!

There is one PDF watermarking option for WordPress/WooCommerce that will work with EVERY PDF, in case you come back to this later. It’s called WooStamper. Thanks for letting me know, and good luck with your project!
