This weekend event attribute

Hi, I would very much like to make a listing of events scheduled for “this weekend” (Saturday and Sunday of this week). Is there any way to filter events by weekends (weekdays) or could you maybe please jhust add an event attribute – scope to make this possible? Thank you very much.
