[HTTP 400] Unable to create record: The ‘To’ number is not a valid

  • Hello,
    I am using WPSMS plugin for phone verfication sms process, there I have added LIVE Credentials also but I am getting [HTTP 400] Unable to create record: The ‘To’ number is not a valid phone number. and same number issue when I am testing.
    Can you please suggest me How can I fix this issue.

    Hi,
    when you try to send a test message ( on test tab), do you get it to work??
    did you make any changes to the plugin or you use any third party custom mods to make it to work like OTP??

    also make sure the number is valid, the correct format + verified in Twilio console, or you use a paid account.

    I am using paid account and when I tried to send a test message ( on test tab), there I am getting this issue.

    and I have not done any changes in plugin for OTP or others, just follow plugin set-up instruction.

    I will try again and see if I can replicate it.
    technically, the error you are receiving is provided by Twilio API, which means the request has been sent but the number if not valid or the proper format.

    First I have added ticket to Twilio support and they said that we will have to discuss with plugin support.
    Is Twilio provide us some valid test number using that we can test the plugin set-up, so we can check number is invalid or some issue with plugin set-up and something else.
    I will wait for your reply.
