• Hello, We have 80% of our orders that have the status “cancelled”.

    Customers order and then the order status changes to cancelled, our woocommerce is in WordPress 5.5.3.

    Is there a configuration to avoid order cancellations?

    What payment processor are you using? I suspect that the processor puts the order in a specific status when payment is made but before it is actually completed. If that is the case you should be selecting that status in the last box.

    I don’t know anything about that payment processor. I suspect that the processor sets the order status to “In Progress” but leaves the items in the cart until the order has been paid for.

    If you look at a specific order history in the backend does it show anything interesting?

    I suspect it gets put in this “In Progress” status but leaves the items in the cart until payment is actually completed. If this plugin expires the items in the cart before that happens the backend might be cancelling these orders.

    You could try to set this status in the “Ignore Order Status” to keep the plugin from expiring those carts.

    The best information would be gathered by placing an order and watching the actual order status through each step to see what is happening.

    Sorry there is a language barrier here, I do not know what those status reflect in the database or what is actually used.

    I’ve never used that plugin so I don’t know if it will include what is needed. The backend order history might show enough to understand why.

    You need to see the status that is being set on the order after payment is made but before being completed to know which one to select.

    So if I tick pending payment, as soon as a person enters the ordering tunnel the countdown will be blocked? then if they go back to the shop catalog, the countdown starts again?

    Pending payment is usually before payment has been even attempted but the order is created. This is probably not the status you want to worry about.

    Have you done any testing to see what status the payment processor is in after you initiate payment but before the transaction has completed fully?
