    Hello
I like this plugin as it seems to be simple and better configurable as other forms. But there are no emails sent.
I tested to send mail using Check & Log Email; emails are sent without error.
The same situation on another server.

    My system: WP 5.5.3
    PHP-Version 7.3.23 (32bit)
PHP-modules: Core, PDO, Phar, Reflection, SPL, SimpleXML, bcmath, bz2, calendar, cgi-fcgi, ctype, curl, date, dba, dom, exif, fileinfo, filter, ftp, gd, gettext, hash, iconv, imagick, imap, intl, json, libxml, mbstring, mysqli, mysqlnd, openssl, pcntl, pcre, pdo_mysql, pdo_sqlite, pgsql, posix, session, soap, sqlite3, standard, tokenizer, wddx, xml, xmlreader, xmlwriter, xsl, zip, zlib
plugins: Advanced Editor Tools (previously TinyMCE Advanced), Antispam Bee, Autoptimize, BackWPup, Check & Log Email, Civil Footnotes, Contextual Related Posts, HTML Forms, Noptin – WordPress Newsletter Plugin, Scheduled Post Trigger, Shariff Wrapper, Very Simple Event List, WordPress Importer, WP Accessibility, WP Maintenance Mode, WP RSS Aggregator

  • No email showing up in the log either in the Log Email plugin you are using?
Can you show me how you’ve setup your Email action in HTML forms?

Some hosts will only allow specific from email addresses to be used, so that’s worth looking into.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Thank You for answer. Meanwhile I found the solution: I had to correct caching settings.

Ok, nice find! What caching solution do you use and what setting did you need to change?? I haven’t heard about this before yet. Thanks for letting me know.

I deactivated autoptimize and cachify, cleared (deleted via ftp) cache and could send from form. Then activated autoptimize and could send furthermore.
    It’s a mystery…

I guess clearing the cache is the new “did you turn it off and on again?” ??

    Thanks for letting me know.
