Pop up ad appears randomly

  • I recently installed the Rowling theme on my site. Strangely when I click the site Navigation menu sometimes a pop-up advt appears (with “Ad” written at the top corner). It mostly happens just once when I load the page afresh. I didn’t configure any such ad, and looks like this pop-up code is hidden within the theme. Can the author point out how to remove it?

    Hi @debashish,

    I can assure you that there are no ads included in the Rowling theme code. It’s probably included in a plugin you’re using, or maliciously injected code somewhere on your site. Start by disabling all of your plugins to see if that fixes the issue. Next, try reinstalling Rowling.
