Sidebar Video Widget

Hope someone can advise on a Sidebar Video Widget that works
I’m using WP2.9.1 with MacOS & Safari. I just want to have a small video (one of mine) in one of the 2 sidebars like Lazy Gallery. I’ve tried several Sidebar Video Widget Plugins like Smart Youtube, WP Video Widget, Viper’s Video Quicktags & WordTube but can’t seem to get any to function beyond the small black/blank video player. I can save my QuickTime video in any format like swf, flv, mov, mp3, mp4, etc. I’m not sure if my link path was wrong but I’ve tried every path variation but again nothing beyond the small black/blank video player. I’d be most grateful for any advice… thank you!
