Text Editor Breakage

    First, thank you for the effective plugin.

    Problem: Users text editor goes blank, they aren’t able to see what they are typing except for the flow of the cursor. I search in the support forum and saw someone complained of bbpress editor not functioning, someone else suggested excluding wp-includes/js/quicktags.js, wp-includes/js/quicktags.min.js . I used this and it works on the first page refresh after I delete Autoptimize cache. From the second page refresh, the text editor goes blank.
    I believe this is because of AO cache.

    Please what do I have to uncheck from AO options or another effective script to exclude such that even with AO cache, users text editor will work.

    Admin editor at backend have no issue.

    First and foremost try to identify what is breaking things by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next steps need to be ??

    Thank you for your valuable suggestions. I was able to identify what is breaking things. I’m using the Async JavaScript plugin. After disabling Async JavaScript, users editor started working properly. So the problem is the Async JavaScript. I deferred and still the same problem. My theme takes forever to load first content so I find the Async JavaScript helpful.

    What do I do next?

    OK, so:
    * what are your AsyncJS settings?
    * what JS errors do you see on the console when AsyncJS is active?

    Thank you so much. No JS errors. Deferring finally managed to work for me. Only that users will have to click visual to bring up the text editor. It’s still a win for me to have a better speed. I’ll put up a notification to users to always click on the visual to bring out the editor panel before they start typing.
