Why no older versions on WordPress repository?

Like the title says. Please enable older versions of the plugin to the WordPress repository for download. What is the reason that you are only committing the latest release to the repository trunk, and delete the old ones? Development doesn’t work this way! Switching my review from 5 star to 1 star, sorry mate.
