Hi there. Suddenly black pages are popping up when navigating on my site. Anyone can see what is wrong? I can’t :/
Enter the page and enter for example “Bilder”

Looking at your site, you are on WordPress 5.6

To rule out any theme or plugin conflict with this new 5.6 version, please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I’m getting the same problem on multiple websites. The page is not black. It looks like it is trying to open up a large gallery image that doesn’t exist. See the X in the top right corner. For me, it’s not affecting all links, only some.

Thank you. A plugin was causing this.

I wouldn’t be convinced that it was a plugin. I’ve been testing my own site and a link that gives a black screen will suddenly start working when tried a couple of minutes later. Maybe it’s a caching problem???

Can you check something for me? I’ve discovered that it’s not a link problem. It’s a LEFT-CLICK problem. Try left clicking anywhere on the website that isn’t a link. I’m getting the same black screen still on your website if I click in white space.

The plugin Responsive Lightbox & Gallery by dFactory caused the issue on my sites.

Thanks. We use that too. Will turn the damn thing off!

    Glad its sorted ??

For us it was also the Responsive Lightbox & Gallery by dFactory BUT it happened only on a website that is hosted on www.ads-software.com. We use that plugin on many other self-hosted sites and those have not been affected. I’ll monitor it though.

FYI: Also there is this thread at the dedicated support forum of that plugin
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/break-the-site-since-wp-5-6/

Thanks. To solve the problem, I updated the plugin Responsive Lightbox & Gallery by dFactory from version 2.2.3.1 to 2.3.0
