Strange issue with Multiple Business Theme

  • Hi,

    Just today I’ve noticed a strange issue on a client website. For some reason all links, not just internal but also external have stopped working. Console is not throwing up any errors but is showing a Source map warning: Error: request failed with status 404 involving bootstrap.min.css.map.

    It definitely is a theme error as I have activated other themes and can’t replicate the problem. I have also deactivated all plugins but this does not solve the problems.

    The other strange thing is that I have a very similar client site with almost exactly the same plugins, wordpress version, php version, etc but there is no issue with this site.

    I’m really at a loss and pulling my hair out. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Just an update, I noticed that links will work but only if they are opened in a new tab. Never seen this before!

    Further to this, I decided to downgrade the WP version and this fixed the issue. I have no idea why, but it seems like the conflict is between the theme and the latest or later versions of WP. Very strange indeed. Would love someone to tell me how this has has happened. I’ll let the developers know so they can hopefully find the bug.
