Text rollover for blog content images

  • I created my new website (https://www.myformative.com/art) and I would like to have the blog content images reveal text when moused over. However, I am unfamiliar with HTML.

    I read various forums that provide codes for image rollover, but the codes seem to be for header images, not blog content images. Does there exist one simple code that could be placed within the my theme to create this effect?

    Also, I am not sure what “hover attribute” means; I see this mentioned everywhere. Much explanation may be necessary.

  • When a mouse is positioned over an object – this is called a hover over the object.

    Do you want to display the post content when you hover over the post image or you want just to display the image description?
