Delivery cost and zipcode restriction

  • Hello guys,
    Today we decided that we also want to deliver our wonderful menus, the main reason is that our government decided today that the Netherlands is under full lockdown till 19 January.

    So, I come across two issues, I hope you have an answer for us.

    1- There is no option for delivery cost.
    2- My client only want to deliver to specific zip codes, so in WooCommerce we can create a delivery option, add 5,– cost and set the zip codes we want to deliver. But the problem is that also Pickup clients must be living in the zipcodes, otherwise they can’t make an order.

    Do you have an idea?

    We have a plugin under development which will cover all delivery related functionalities, but its not near completion yet. It might take a while to get these requirements from the plugin. Sorry for the inconveniences.

    Are there any time estimates on when the addon will be available? How “flexible” will the addon be (can we define many different zones and corresponding minimum orders and/or delivery costs)? Do you already have an estimate of the addon’s price?

    My client needs to provide free delivery starting from a given minimum order amount, where the amount depends on the ZIP code (e.g. ZIP code near the location = lower minimum order, ZIP code farer away = higher minimum order).

    We were very much sure of the demand we’ll get for this particular extension, but sue to lack of resources we have been delaying this more and more. As the primary focus on the parent free plugin itself, we have been continuously enhancing it and making it stable. Apart from that there also enhancement and bug fixes to existing addons.

    So yes, the points you have mentioned will be there and it will be on higher price side which will be $49/lifetime license. But it might take another couple of weeks to make it ready.
