    OK,

I created a temporary staging site to test new themes. After creating the staging site, I received notice on my live site that JetPack had placed my live site in Safe Mode. I noticed that my user stats were no longer being recorded. Several hours later, I deleted my staging site but JetPack still has my live site in Safe Mode. I’m now getting option messages (on my live site) of:

“Is this website a temporary duplicate of staging.charest.net for the purposes of testing, staging or development? If so, we recommend keeping it in Safe Mode.”

    or

“If this is a separate and new website, or the new home of staging.charest.net, we recommend turning Safe Mode off, and re-establishing your connection to WordPress.com.”

Neither applies. This is my live site, and I want to remove safe mode and restore JetPack monitoring to this site. How do I do this?

    Thank You.
    Ron

    Hi Ron

Sorry for the trouble here. We’re working on improving the Safe Mode feature.

Please select the second option (turn off safe mode), and then if you have trouble with the connection, please contact us via this contact form and mention this thread.
