• Since last update click import on the tmdb import screen leads to the csv mapping screen and not the tmdb one.

    Any help?

    Hi @earl_d,

Thank you for trying out our plugin.?When you use TMDB import to import data. The data will be fetched from the TMDB and stored as a CSV file on your site. Then the process continues like normal CSV import. You have to map the CSV into the related fields and perform the import.

I realize that but the TMDb csv file is not available for mapping I get the screen for uploading a csv. That didn’t happen before.

    Hi @yousufansa, @earl_d is right.

I have exactly the same issue with the “MAS Videos TMDB Import” since the last update.

When I choose a movie with an ID, instead loading automatically the CSV like before and going to step 2, it returns “Please upload or provide the link to a valid CSV file.”

Thanks for checking to fix that issue.

    Hi @earl_d, @aplagnespaya,

We could not reproduce the above issue in our local. Can you please share your site details? If you are using the Vodi theme on your site please contact Vodi support with your WP Admin Details.

    Hello again,

I do not think the issue is related to the update. The message is thrown when the uploaded CSV does not exist or the user does not have access to it. The upload itself uses WordPress’s core upload feature.

Hope this clarifies. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help with the plugin.

The issue is definitely related to the update, since I reverse back to the Version 1.2.2 and it’s working perfectly. I use Vodi by the way.

Thank you for the clarification. I wasn’t aware of update from 1.2.2. Here is CSV importer specific code that we added: https://github.com/madrasthemes/masvideos/commit/99b6b2e52b951b07250355e3eae26b23f3f13fa3

Can you please remove these code in your website and test? We are unable to test this as we are not able to reproduce this in our servers.

I will check by today and come back to you!

Hi, I’ve had the same problem after the update. Adding “csv” file format in the “Allowed file types” website settings in wp-admin made it work again. ??

Thank you for this wonderful suggestion ??

@mattook What version of the plugin are you running now and are you saying the TMDB import works after adding csv to the file list?

It’s not working anymore, sorry.. don’t know why it worked then.

    (@earl_d)

Has anyone checked if the latest update continues this issue?

    Hello @earl_d,

Apologies for the delay in response. We are unable to reproduce this issue yet. We do not think this is an issue related to the plugin itself. This is because the upload feature is forked from WooCommerce’s core.

Here is a related issue in WooCommerce: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/22208

Let us know if any of the solution suggested works.

    Kindest Regards,
    Ibrahim
