    Hi!

    I’ve had my GA account set up for a while now, but I just got into installing this plugin for my WordPress blog on my same domain.

    I followed the onscreen instructions – using my Google account ID that I already had.

    Is that all there is to it? It said it would add the code to the footer by default, but not sure what that was. It’s been roughly 24hrs and still don’t see any new entries on my GA reports other than my 2 front doors (french /english website). Nothing for my blog yet.

    Just wondering, was there anything else to do after activating the plugin with my Google account id?

    Thks

    anyone?

    I am blown away no one has responded! I have GA installed and I think I did it right but cannot see how to view the info. I will be following this. tr

    Hey, I just had this problem today (GA plugin appears to be installed, no tracking code). To be sure, I viewed source and there was no tracking code at the bottom. Even if suppressed for the admin, there should at least be a comment saying Google tracking hidden for admin.

    Anyway, turned out the reason was the theme I was using did not have the following line in footer.php:

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

    WIthout that you’re not going to see any tracking.

    I thought I set this up correctly but I am also having issues. Looking at my Google Analytics set up page it shows the “clock” status which means it detects the code but is aggregating reports. I understand that is supposed to take about 24 hours – unfortunately its been well over 30 hours.

    (and my theme does have the <?php wp_footer(); ?> line so that’s not it.)

    Any ideas?
