Oh dear, they’ve ruined it (as expected)

I knew this would happen. I used AIOSEO on hundreds of sites because it was lean, easy to setup and worked really well compared to bloated options like Yoast.

Now they have been bought out and OF COURSE they have totally changed it and ruined everything that was good about it.

Stupid long winded setup wizard, difficult to find sections, need to scroll down loads just to adjust some simple settings, a thousand sections that say ‘Only available in Pro version’…. I could go on.

There should at least be the options of choosing between ‘Classic view and 4.0 view’.

Didn’t they think there were reasons people chose this plugin over Yoast?? I will be looking elsewhere for a lean, simple SEO plugin.
