    Hey,

first of all, thanks for providing this great plugin!

Due to a recent ruling, the privacy shield is invalid (https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-53418898).

Therefore I want to use wordfence (mainly because of the scanner and vulnerability check) without the transfer of personal data / ip addresses to US servers.

Is this possible with the following steps?

    1. Disabling wordfence firewall feature
    2. Disabling “Participate in the Real-Time Wordfence Security Network” option in brute force settings

    Thanks in advance!

    Best regards from Austria/EU!
    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

This is something we will need to check with the development team when they are back on the 4th of January.

    Hi Matthias

Disabling the option Participate in the Real-Time Wordfence Security Network should prevent the Wordfence plugin from sending any data to us.

You don’t need to disable the firewall.
