@rgupta31 If you want to set your tag pages to noindex so that they are not indexed in Google’s search results, you would need to perform the following actions:

? In WordPress go to SEO>Search Appearance
? Click on the ‘Taxonomies’ tab
? For Tags set ‘Show Tags in search results?’ to ‘No’
      ? Click ‘Save Changes’

In order for the tag pages to be removed from the Google search results it would require that Google first recrawls the site. When it does recrawl your site it will then detect the noindex robots meta tag in the tag pages, which instructs Google to not index that page.

We also have a guide on how to set a content type or taxonomy to noindex here: https://yoast.com/help/how-do-i-noindex-urls/
