Change password requirement

    When a new user create password the first time, there is a hint under the input box saying “Hint: The password should be at least twelve characters long.”, however, user can still use very short password. Is the 12 chars mandatory?

    Another question is, if I want to customize text of the hint, where should I modify it?

    Hi @emmagreen1220,

    Please note the user registration process is under WordPress control, not wpForo. wpForo only provides with the registration form, other processes are performed by WordPress.Probably there is some other plugin that caused the issue. You should deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find a problem maker.

    Another question is, if I want to customize text of the hint, where should I modify it?
