I have a web site with front page as a static page (there I have few posts displayed). Then I have set another page called “Events” as a posts page in the Settings->Reading, but I can’t get to display my posts on that page, only text which I set in the pages menu.

How can I display my posts (all posts with pagination) on the different page then the front page?

    Thanks

Does your theme have an index.php file? This is the template that is normally used by the Posts page as configured in Settings/Reading.

I used index.php to create static front page. Do I did it wrong way?

Yep. I’d suggest re-uploading the index.php file from a fresh copy of that theme. Then create a custom page template for your static home page – leaving your posts page to make use of the default index.php template.

What I should to pick for “Events” page as a template to get posts displayed?
