Tablespace Error When Installing

  • Hi there,

    I’m getting this error when trying to install WPTC:

    Tablespace for table ‘gdibzf.wp_wptc_current_process‘ exists. Please DISCARD the tablespace before IMPORT.

    How can I resolve this?

    From the error message you posted, We suspect that the wp_wptc_current_process is corrupted.

    Kindly follow the instructions and fix the problems with the WPTC plugin installation.
    1. Deactivate and delete the WPTC plugin
    2. Go to /var/lib/mysql on your server and delete the file wp_wptc_current_process.ibd
    3. Install and activate WPTC plugin again.

    Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I did this and I get the same error. I had already emailed help at wptimecapsule dot com but never heard back…
