• Unfortunately, even though it stated through WordPress it was free… it is in fact not.? I just need a simple Covid 19 Popup, no marketing or conversions.? So I used a different product.? I was disappointed?in your service because I wasted about an hour setting up a service that was not was what it said.

I then when to the reviews & found the truth.? That truth was not in the negative reviews but rather your cut & paste response to said reviews:

If you need to continuously respond with “It isn’t our intention to mislead anyone.”? You need to change your strategy.? Clearly, you see that you are, in fact, misleading people.? So taking a screenshot?of some small print as proof of integrity is not convincing.? Your services actually look good & something that I may be interested in down the road but because of this first impression you’ve made it’s doubtful, I will ever use it.

    Hi @gregyates,

Thanks so much for reaching out. In November 2020, we introduced a completely free plan for users of our WordPress plugin. It includes all of the features of a Basic subscriptions, including 2 campaigns, and up to 500 campaign impressions. It’s a great option for those just getting started with growing their list, leads and sales.

If you haven’t already, please update your OptinMonster for WordPress plugin and you should see the option to register a free account, or to connect to an existing account if you already have one.

You can view a detailed walkthrough of how to install the OptinMonster for WordPress plugin here: https://optinmonster.com/docs/how-to-install-the-optinmonster-wordpress-plugin/ including how to create a free account.

If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re happy to help!

Thank you for sending me this Link to the Documentations. Unfortunately, I spent the time installing the exact plugin linked from this documentation and the results were exactly the same:

Click on the link from my newly installed WordPress Plugin:

It goes to Connect Your Site

After I click it goes to a page that shows a Button that said “Create a Free Account” and This looks promising… a mention of a free license but after you click the green button:

Absolutely NO OPTION for any free account. And if you don’t choose 1 of the paid ones you can go no further.

If there really is a free way to use your services it is VERY well buried.

    Thanks for trying,

    -Greg
