After migrating the site to another hoster (WPEngine – WP 5.6, Latest “Divi”), Redirection said it needed to update the database. After we did that, when we go to the “Themes” ‘page’, when you hover over any of the themes’ pic (to update it), all the pics start to ‘oscillate’ (growing bigger and then getting smaller).

Any suggestions? (I see that there is a “5.0” Beta. Is that intended to work with WP 5.6?)

Redirection does not have anything to do with the themes page, and what you described sounds intentionally part of WordPress. Redirection fully works with WP 5.6

    John,
    Thanks for the quick response.

Hmmm… It’s like a ‘switch’. We update the Redirection database, and the themes page goes crazy (the ONLY thing we do). Then, after ‘refreshing’ it to the previous ‘state’ (before the database update by copying it from Staging) it’s fine (but there is a ‘notice’ that we need to update the database again).

Do you think we should remove the current plugin and reinstall ‘fresh’? Do you think that might help?

If so, do we need to do some kind of “export” before deleting/removing the plugin?

    Thanks for your help.

The plugin is not connected to the themes page in any way. Unless you have a redirect that might be redirecting a resource the themes page needs then there is no way for Redirection to affect that page.

There are no other reports of this happening, and any difference you are seeing is likely coincidental and unrelated to Redirection. You can disable the plugin (not delete) to see if anything changes.

I don’t think reinstalling will make any difference.

I don’t have Divi, but it sounds more likely that would be involved with the themes page.
