Settings export/import

    Hello,
    Once I have the settings configured (ie: Library names; included categories, etc) is there a way to export/import the settings …even if it involves database queries and export/import of sql files? Thank you.

    Would you mind calrfiying the functionality of the Library Configurations – Import / Export Settings feature?

    Does it export and import categories and tags? Does it export and import names and ids (or numbers)?

    The Library Configuration section imports and exports all information contained in Library Configurations, including the IDs of the categories that might have been selected to be displayed or not. Now, if you try to load this configuration file on a different site where you’ve re-created the same categories through manual entry or importing of links, it is quite possible that the categories won’t line up and you will need to re-select categories to be shown or hidden.

    Links and names of categories are NOT exported or imported with this feature. There are export and import functions for links and their categories in the Global Options section of Link Library.
