Show products on desktop, but categories on mobile

    On the main shopping-page:
    – On the desktop we will have a product-filter, so we want to show the products.
    – On the mobile however, as we lack the space for a filter (end-users would first see some pages full with filter options, which will scare them off), we want to show the categories.
    The normal settings for this are in the customising: (WordPress Dashboard – Appearance – Customize – Woocommerce – Product Catalog). However these settings are not responsive ??
    I have work with a workaround, where I display 2 widgets (archive and categories) and modify the responsive settings of these. It all works fine till, on the mobile the user drills down to lowest level of category, and still categories are shown, not the products ??
    It should be possible with an e-commerce solution, we believe. As this is a common situation. Can you help? Thanks!
