Date display issue

    I am in Honolulu time but the date changes 10 hours ahead of honolulu time. How to correct?

    Go to Dashboard > Settings > Time Zone.

    Did that. Set to Honolulu time zone. The UTC time is what the site seems to be following and not the Honolulu setting.

    UTC time is 2010-02-16 2:13:58
    Local time is 2010-02-15 16:13:58

    18 hours later, can someone shed some light on this? The site is now live and the date is probably about to change to Wednesday, the 17th, when here in Hawaii it is still the 16thh and will be for 13 more hours. Thanks.

    I’m imagining that it’s somehow clocking the server time zone rather than the WordPress assigned time zone? If so, I’m not sure how to change that but someone else might. Are you hosted out of country?
