Default wordpress ‘wp-sitemap.xml’ showing 404 error

I recently installed SEO framework and went through all configuration steps.

For some reason, the default wordpress sitemap (wp-sitemap.xml) is still available and throws a 404 error (https://dystopianstories.com/wp-sitemap.xml).

The site also include a sitemap generated by the plugin, that seems to work fine (https://dystopianstories.com/sitemap.xml).

Can you help with this issue? Why is the default wordpress sitemap not redirecting to the sitemap generated by SEO framework?
