• Hi there,

Has any used the new siteground installation for wordpress multisite.
I’ve issued an SSL certificate on siteground.
But when logged in to my multisite we can’t see anywhere to make it HTTPS.
Does it have to be done in htaccess file?

I’ve chatted with siteground support and they mentioned domain mapping.

    Thanks
    Scott

That’s because there’s nothing to configure in WordPress (Multisite) itself. SSL/HTTPS setup should be done on your web server or in your hosting account’s control panel, after which you may change your WordPress site URL to use HTTPS.

What happens when you visit your PRIMARY domain with HTTPS?

Are you using sub-domain or sub-directory Multisite setup?

Can you give your PRIMARY domain so I can test the SSL implementation for you?

Thanks George, I’ve decided not to use multisite now. It’s a bit complex for me.
