    Hi dear @samperrow ,

I wanted to ask you if it is possible to use your Pre * Party Resource Hints plugin together with the Flying Pages plugin with the following configuration without the use of both being redundant ?

Pre * Party Resource Hints Settings:

    General Settings
Disable automatically generated WordPress resource hints: Yes
Send resource hints in HTML head or HTTP header: HTML <head>

    Auto Preconnect Settings
    Automatically set preconnect hints: Yes
Allow unauthenticated users to automatically set preconnect hints via Ajax: Yes

    Auto Prefetch Settings
Allow for navigation links to be prefetched while in viewport: No
    Prefetch initiation delay: Off (0)
    Ignore these keywords:
Maximum requests per second the prefetch queue should process: 3
Delay in prefetching links on mouse hover (milliseconds): 50

Flying Pages by WP Speed Matters Settings:

    Delay to start preloading: 0
Max requests per second: 3 requests
Preload only on mouse hover: Off
    Mouse hover delay: Off (50ms)
Ignore keywords: The default keyword list as is without any changes

Thanks in advance for the support.

P.S.: I also saw that the Flying Pages developer has collaborated with you helping you develop the Auto Prefetch feature.

@fabioperri Thanks for contacting me. If you have the “auto prefetch” feature enabled with my plugin, you don’t really need to have the Flying Pages plugin. The author of that plugin was kind to let me use his JS script on my plugin to achieve the same results.

    Hi dear @samperrow ,

First of all thank you very much for your precious support and for your kindness.

The only three differences I notice between the Flying Pages plugin and the Flying Pages plugin integration into your Pre * Party Resource Hints plugin and that this is missing from the Flying Pages plugin:

1 – In the setting for the “Ignore keywords” option, the following values (very convenient and important) are not entered by default, which instead are present by default on Flying Pages:

    /wp-admin
    /wp-login.php
    /cart
    /checkout
    add-to-cart
    logout
    #
    ?
    .png
    .jpeg
    .jpg
    .gif
    .svg
    .webp

2 – Your Flying Pages integration in Pre * Party Resource Hints is missing this very useful option in the settings:

    Disable for logged in admins
(Helps to reduce server load since most of the cache plugins do not serve cached pages when logged in)

3 – The section relating to the compatibility of these functions and the two control fields that are present in the flying Pages plugin are missing:

    HTTPS Check
? Your website is served over HTTPS

    Cache-Control Check
? “no-store” is not found in your Cache-Control response header

I ask the courtesy of being able to insert both of these three requests of mine in order to make your Pre * Party Resource Hints plugin perfect.

Furthermore and last I wanted to confirm that by using and activating both Auto Preconnect Settings and Auto Prefetch Settings in Pre * Party Resource Hints, these are not redundant between them.

I look forward to your response and have a good day

Thanks in advance for the support.

    Hi dear @samperrow ,

I forgot to mention that there is another difference that is missing in Pre * Party Resource Hints settings and it is number 4 and it is the following:

4 – Your Flying Pages integration in Pre * Party Resource Hints is missing this very, very useful option in the settings:

    Preload only on mouse hover
(Start preloading links only on mouse hover)

I ask the courtesy of being able to insert both of these four requests of mine in order to make your Pre * Party Resource Hints plugin perfect.

I look forward to your response and have a good day

Thanks in advance for the support.

@fabioperri Good points. I will certainly do what I can do add those prefetch features when I can.

The “auto preconnect” and “auto prefetch” features work quite differently- so the hints generated from each will not be redundant. Auto preconnect feature will only create hints for resources hosted on external sites.

@samperrow Thank you for taking my suggestions into consideration and I hope you can integrate them soon.

    Have a nice day !
