• Hi,

my site has enabled “infinite scroll” which is based on the native WP’s pagination. The only problem is that the url keeps on change during the scroll. Is it possible sticking it to “www.foo.com” instead of “www.foo.com/page/x”?

    Thank you

  • You should ask in the support forum for whatever plugin you are using.
They are likely to tell you that it is better in terms of SEO to have the URL change to accurately reflect the content and help users get back to something they saw.

I did, but it is not about the plugin (it is built in a theme BTW), is the way (for my understanding) WordPress manages the pagination. The “theme” queries “the pagination” of WP which creates the change in the url.

Well, that’s not right either. The theme simply shows what is queried, not the other way around.
If it’s in the theme, you need to ask at the theme’s support forum. And that won’t be here, because that is not allowed in a theme in the WP repository.
