  • Hi,

Our guide is working just fine. The reason why the Mailchimp pop-up is not working on your website is related to the JavaScript errors present in your website console, see this image: https://prnt.sc/wluzxt

As you can see, there are some issues that are breaking the JavaScript execution and thus it’s affecting the Pop-up script too.

I suggest that you get in touch with our support for quick assistance on find the cause of the issues. You can reach us here: https://www.lyrathemes.com/support/

    All the best. ??

I messaged them and they asked me for a temporary password, which I don’t know how to send, and now no response.

Does this Javascript issue also have to do with why my Google Adsense doesn’t work?

I messaged them and they asked me for a temporary password, which I don’t know how to send, and now no response.

Very sorry to hear about the trouble! We didn’t receive a reply from you on that support ticket, but if you would like to send temporary admin login info securely, you can use a self destructing note– just create a new note including the login info, generate the secure link, and send us that link in a support ticket from here:

I see that one of the javascript errors is coming from your Adsense code, so it does appear to be related.

    Hi Steven,

Is there a way to dumb this down? I don’t know how to create a temporary login.

    Hi @maxinedubois,

Thanks so much for sending that over, it worked perfectly. There were quite a few issues with invalid markup being inserted, and javascript being removed, but the ads and Mailchimp are both working correctly for me now on your site. One thing to note though, there doesn’t appear to be any popup code installed, only the standard subscription form.

If you have any additional questions or run into any further issues, just let us know!

    Thank you Steven!

You’re referring to the mailchimp popup correct? When I went to mailchimp.com they only asked for my website name and from there they said the popup should be working.

Are the ads working on your mobile device as well?

    Hi @maxinedubois,

Yes, that’s correct…I’m not seeing anything in your code or your widgets that would enable a popup, it might be worth reaching out to Mailchimp support once more to see if they have some code for you to use to embed this popup on your site.

Yes…I checked and the ads are working great on iPhone from here, both your Amazon ads and your Adsense.

    Have a great weekend!
