Minimum user role for individual exceptions editing

    Hi,

    I have create new user role using plugin, and I would like the individual exceptions editing to be shown to user role for the new created role, Editor and Administrator. However, if I choose the drop down list as the new created role, the individual exceptions editing will be shown to all roles. Please advise how this plugin decide which is the highest and lowest rank of the role.

    This feature basicaslly uses default WP roles which use slugs super-admin, administrator, editor, author, contributor and subscriber. They are also treated in this order.

    Other (custom) roles fall below the last one so the exceptions are shown to all user roles.

    When you open the Min. user role for ind. exceptions editing selection you get the list of roles in the order used by the plugin (bottom = the highest role).

    Why don’t you use one of the existing user roles?
