Older posts do not show related posts

    Recently published posts on my site (example) show related posts.

    Older posts (example) do not.

    I am using the setting such that only posts that are newer than six months are eligible to be included but I am not sure if that is related to the issue or why it would be causing a problem.

    Hi @zgall1, thanks for reporting your problem. Yes when you check “only show posts from the past 6 months” that tells YARPP to only suggest posts published in the last 6 months FROM TODAY, not from the date the post being displayed was published.
    So it appears YARPP is finding your older posts aren’t sufficiently related to your new ones to consider recommending the new posts.

    You can try either turning off the setting “Only show posts from the past x months”, or reducing the “Match Threshold” or adjusting the other settings under “The Algorithm”.

    Does that make sense?
