I use a CSV to manage pricing and stock.
I run WP All Import via a scheduled manual import using cron jobs.

It works great… On the back end…

At first I tried to use catalog visibility to hide out of stock items, after each import items would be marked in WP back-end as “hidden” – but still they would show on the front-end. I read that there can be a common error that still shows “hidden” products on the front end. BUT if I went into edit the product on the back-end and did nothing but click update – the product would now be hidden on the front end.

I figured this could be related to the above known issue so I re-configured my import to work with the inventory “instock” and “outofstock”…

I get the exact same results… Import > updated on back-end > no change on front-end > enter edit product and click update > front-end updates. OR if I just click “quick edit” on a product and then do nothing other than update…

For both cases the import works fine and even prices and titles can be changed and reflected on both front & back end – but product visibility doesn’t seem to register with WP.

I cleared caches, turned off caching, switched to default theme and disabled as many plugins as possible – still the same results…

    Any ideas at all?

I can’t replicate either of these issues in my tests, so we’re going to need to see your import settings and data to understand what’s going on.

Please replicate this on a sandbox site at https://www.wpallimport.com/debug/, then open a support request at https://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with details on the issue and the URL to the sandbox site.
