Way to expensive, for a minimum compression.

  • I Paid 10€ for 10k pictures/month (what is pretty less, since my website got somehow more then 12k thumbnails?!) and it compromised only 3-4k and said it’s depleted.

    You guys should look for a cheaper way to compress the images!

    Hi, @ooshenooo,

    As my colleagues from the support team explained to you, a credit is used each time ShortPixel Image Optimizer optimizes an image or thumbnail by at least 5%.

    Please note that each image has a number of thumbnails automatically generated by WordPress upon adding a new image. The number of thumbnails depends on the theme and plugins you use. Each thumbnail optimization is counted as a separate credit, and that is explained in multiple places:

    We believe that we have very competitive prices, but if they still seem expensive to you, we even give you the option to exclude the thumbnails from optimization on the plugin settings, thus reducing the number of credits needed.

    As you can see, there’s no lack of information or ways to reduce your expense ??
