Fix your text editor

I love this plugin, but they seriously need to fix their text editor. I’ve had to move back to Elementor and Gutenberg as it takes HOURS to insert text and format it, as the text element in the builder resets and removes all formatting, and then bunches all paragraphs, heading, and sentences together.

When you paste formatted or unformatted text, random instances of line breaks and spacing occurs and none of the original line breaks or spacing are retained. This leads to one having to manually format text and backspace each random line break, making a basic website job an extremely difficult exercise. Unfortunately, their support does not indicate when this issue will ever get fixed. I will happily update my rating once they fix this fundamental function, as I cannot advise others to buy this plugin without text editing being available for website building.

An additional side note: be cautious about the “dynamic content” capabilities. It only works for text, featured images and text-area fields. Don’t expect oEmbeds, drop-down queries, or other custom dynamic fields to work on your posts or pages. If you’re looking to create dynamic content, I would honestly stick with Elementor until Brizy updates their integration with Pods and ACF.
