• I’ve only got bad things to say about this plug-in, but I’m a kind man so I’ll try keep it to a minimum (wide grin)! The Installation Instructions are incomplete, faulty, circular and incomprehensible. If your WP blog is in the domain’s root, the instructions neither here nor on the BungeeBones main site can be applied. One really needs a Mensa-IQ to deal with this plug-in. Oh, sorry: I have a Mensa-IQ and I still can’t get it up and running.

I guess I’ll go the roundabout way, and get BungeeBones on my blog without using the plug-in. Dealing with a few bits of code and using some common sense is far easier than wrestling with instructions that could have been written by Nostradamus: you can read anything in it, including the end of the world this very evening at 10.32PM Greenwich Mean Time. Lemme tell you one thing though: tomorrow the sun will rise, as if there had never been a BungeeBones plug-in.

    Be well!

Sorry guys, I’ve been trying for two full days now, and there’s no way I can get this to work. Following the instructions leads to disaster, like the page name being treated as a folder or something like that, and/or the system entering an extra folder where one isn’t wanted… lots of things going wrong.

I’ve deleted the plugin. Pity – I’d very much like to have a BungeeBones directory on my site! But it can’t be done – at least not by me, having WP in the root, and using pretty permalinks.

If and when decent/correct instructions are in place, I may give it another try. But by now I’m bloody sick and tired of BungeeBones. Been gnawing too long on them, I guess.

    Be well!

I have made a number of revisions and all those probllems are now fixed. You can see a live demo, installed as root, and using permalinks at https://www.advertisite.us.

I also have the dynamic headers working there, and it is available in the new version 0.0.3 in the repository, but the install of the dyanamic headers does require some coding.

I do apologize for the errors and do hope you give it another shot. At least go and take a peek at it in action.

The repository doesn’t seem to be updating so here is another download site…

Sorry mate, I’ve had it with your bloody BungeeBones. Whatever I do, with whatever version, I can’t get the plug-in to work. The instructions make things go round and round in circles (like following the instruction to download from your own site, and when that’s done the included readme instructs to download/install from the WordPress admin panel), and in a general sense they’re confusing as hell.

Following the instructions to the letter doesn’t work, following them in a kind of “creative way” doesn’t work, and I’m sick and tired of the whole thing. Although I appreciate the general idea behind BungeeBones, I think in it’s present state it’s just a pain in the arse.

    Be, nevertheless, well!
