Require Address on Register and populate that to WooCommerce

    We are starting an auction site, and to try to prevent someone from just logging in with only a username and password we would like to collect their address information so that we can be more sure that they are a real person that really wants to bid on an item (or outbid someone that wants the item).

    I fear with only requiring username and password that we will get a lot of fake people that just want to do harm and outbid REAL bidders, so I’m looking for a way to add the woocommmerce information that you’d checkout with (name address phone) to the registration form.
    We’d then want this information to be populated in their account so that it’s already added since they put it in in registration.

    I just feel this would be the smartest way to try to ensure that the users that register and REAL and want to pay for items they bid on.

    Is there a simple way to do this? I have seen a few $50+ plugins that will do it, but if we don’t have to bog down the site with unneeded plugins or buy unneeded premium plugins and just make these changes ourself I think it would be best.

    At the moment there are no default options for adding extra fields to the registration fields. Practically speaking, this means that you’d need to either use one of the plugins you mentioned or use additional custom coding to add that.

    Given the extent of the coding involved, we’d recommend getting in touch with a web developer or one of the customisation experts listed at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

    I have purchased and installed the https://woocommerce.com/products/custom-user-registration-fields-for-woocommerce/ plugin, but now I don’t see ANY registration under my account, only Login

    What I need is to force Registration before they can do anything other than browse on the site, but I must be missing something because the only thing I see after installing the plugin is the log-in area, the create an account part is now missing…

    how can I get that back with the fields I need (name address ect, like a checkout) to try to verify that they are real users?
