I downloaded Contact Form 7 version 2.1.1, and also have Really Simple Captcha 1.1 installed.

I have implemented the form, and all seems to be going well. However, the captcha is giving me troubles.

I have everything as specified, but when the form is submitted I get validation errors saying “Your entered code is incorrect”, even though I am typing exactly what is in the image. I have tried everything I can think of based on the documentation. The form still won’t accept the characters.

Here is the markup for the captcha part of the form
    [captchac captcha-cf bg:#CCCCCC size:l]
Type the characters you see (required):
    [captchar captcha-cf 20/50]

It’s highly possible that javascripts in other plugins or theme are conflicting with Contact Form 7’s javascript. Check if you can resolve it by deactivating other plugins and switching to the default theme.

I will try different things. One thing I notice is that the form submits properly without the captcha.

I guess I will need to find another alternative. I deactivated every plugin except for the contact form 7 and the really simple captcha, but the form still won’t pass with the captcha.

The upgrade to version 2.1.2 seems to have fixed my problem. Thanks.
