Links to pages changed, originals dont work

    No, I have never restored or migrated a website.I don’t know when the issue happened, I just discovered it yesterday.

    Note that the website appears to be functional, but the links are all messed up so if you try to come from an external website that goes to https://www.besthamradio.com/contact it fails. If you click on the contact link while you are already on the besthamradio.com website, then that link works because it too points to the weird URL.

    Hi,

    I would suggest checking your permalink settings. UpdraftPlus does not have the capability to just change the URL unless your run the search and replace database manually or during the migration process.

    The permalinks of three pages had been changed, all three had “phppageupdraftplustabbackups” in them. I have changed them back so we will see if it happens again.

    I dont know what caused it, and only asked here because I have updraft installed and the links all had updraft in the new permalinks so it seemed like the logical place to start.
