Yoast seo ignore the “shop” page in breadcrumb

    Hello, I have a website with woocommerce inside.
    Now my home page is mysite.com/it
    The shop is in mysite.com/it/shop

    The breadcrumb works fine for all pages except for the shop area.

    For example the page mysite.com/it/shop/red-wines
    has a breadcrumb like this: Home | Red Wines instead of Home | Shop | Red Wines

    The shop path seems to be ignored. How is this possible?

  • Hi Filippo,

    This issue with the breadcrumbs is due to having the Shop page as the homepage. You can add in the Shop breadcrumb link by adding custom code and using the wpseo_breadcrumb_links filter.

    Sorry Priscilla I spoke too early.

    When I go to mysite.com/it/shop/redwines and the breadcrumb is like Home | Shop | Red Wines

    Clicking on “shop” in the breadcrumb it link to mysite.com/it/shop/products-archive and NOT to mysite.com/it/shop/

    Where I am wrong?
