My second custom site ever!

    Yes, short on the heels of mt first custom site ever, is my second. I admit it’s pretty simple. I did it for free. It’s a header spanning over 2 columns and it’s widget-ready:

    The pages menu is hard-coded and in fact the Guestbook link still takes you back to the old site because I haven’t figured out yet how I am going to deal with that. I started this site Friday night and this is it as of Sunday morning.

    All feedback is welcome but keep in mind that this site is in it’s infant stages (and I’m doing it for free)…. meanwhile, to find the best Guestbook plugin…

    For the guestbook page, I’d just create a new page that says, “Leave your comments, thanks for visiting.” and allow people to leave comments. Pretty much the same functionality as a guestbook.

    Thanks. I thought about that and you are right. The only problem is that I will have to copy the entries from the old guestbook one by one. That may be the only way ??

    Thanks both of you. I definitely think I am going with just creating a page that people can comment on since that is essentially what a guestbook is. There are a couple of guestbook plugins out there but they seem kind of pointless.

    After the Guestbook is copied over I will code the pages menu so that the links can be generated by WordPress. The little yellow dots can be background images. It would not be hard to do…
