    Hi,

Hoping you are well during this pandemic.

I have been using Translate press without any problems. And only recently have this “white bar showing up on all pages” after clicking on translate button. It’s up on the header, and I cannot get rid of it. It’s due to Analytify. We’ve confirmed it with Translatepress. Why is your newest update doing this to my pages?

It says, “included by.. included by” I never wrote anything like this in English anywhere on my sites. Bar ONLY shows up when TRANSLATEPRESS is translate button is clicked by a customer. It doesn’t even show on WordPress page, when I’m editing.

    Here are the pictures.

Could you kindly help me with this?

    Thank you,
    Ben

This is what the TRANSLATE PRESS Team wrote:

    Hello there,

I looked over your page and I compared the two source codes (the one for the default language and the one for the translated one) and I noticed that this problem probably has something to do with the WP Analytify plugin.

You can check this image to see the difference: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XRRv7nnXdhG87Sa5CpDoPuL4GP0y6eKQ/view?usp=sharing

A solution that you could try is to go to: Setting -> TranslatePress -> Advanced -> Exclude Gettext Strings and you will have to exclude the entire domain of that plugin. To exclude the domain you just add it without anything in the Gettext String field.
To find the domain you can follow the instruction in this tutorial: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/I18n_for_WordPress_Developers#Text_Domains

Here is an example of how to disable all gettext translation from the WooCommerce plugin: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TJJHPdy068gwHH0cDuTab780oy9HB9KQ/view?usp=sharing

    Best regards,
    Cristian

  • Hi @canadaic

Here is the original source code of the line in latest version of Analytify that you have shared: https://monosnap.com/file/C7pHbFVt1F7hSGt82NcrveANGOept2

As we can see there isn’t any string appearing here which you are getting on your site. I believe the code is somehow altered in your case or some plugin is putting the string there.

If you like we can test it on your website to see what is causing this behavior with Analytify. Please contact us on our support channel: https://analytify.io/support/

Thank you for your assistance. In this case, what can I do to delete this white bar?

I just contacted the support team. I would like to solve this issue soon, kindly share any idea. I’m not tech savvy but I will try my best to solve the issue with your suggestions.

    Kind regards,
    Ben

    @canadaic,

    Recommendations:

    (1) We checked your website (clicked everywhere), and did not see the white bar you mentioned. You must have deactivated Analytify. We did not see it in your source code. However, we noticed you injected Google Analytics Tag Manager into your website header.

    (2) Based on the above, I recommend the following:

    (a) Activate Analytify. Authenticate Analytify using the Authentication tab.

    (b) Deactivate the “Install Google Analytics Tracking Code” as noted here.

    (c) Clear your cache (local and global).

    (d) Test your site.

    (3) We noticed you’re using the plugin, Easy Notification Bar. This could also be causing your issue. With Analytify activated, deactivate Easy Notification Bar to see if this fixes the issue. If it does, obviously, the issue lies with Easy Notification Bar. Delete it and try instead the plugin, WPFront Notification Bar. A much better banner-type plugin.

    Cheers!

    Hi Jetexpert,

Thank you so much! Issue wasn’t Easy Notification Bar, I tested out deactivating “Install Google Alaytics Tracking Code” And that fixed the issue!.

    White bar no longer shows.

I don’t know how to thank you.

Enjoy your weekend, stay safe ??

    @canadaic,

Glad we could help. If satisfied, can you mark this topic as “resolved”?
