• It is for sure the right direction, Gutenberg is headed and brought a lot of smart changes under the hood. The editor itself still has a few issues and UX is not as straight forward as I would wish, but it is already better than the old editor and the block concept will help wordpress evolve and stay relevant in years to come.

What I think come use some better UX:
Moving blocks: On the page, into other groups, to other pages. Drag and drop does not always do what I would expect it to do.
Groups: Seeing which block is in which group is not that easy. Maybe there could be a way to draw borders around groups or something like that.
Reusable Blocks: This is great, but sometimes I need childs of those reusable blocks which have some changes (e.g. in content), but otherwise keep the link to the parent.
Block settings: For some of the standard blocks, I’m just missing settings for customization. I guess that is something that will come naturally.

Great job, you’re heading in the right direction. Thanks for all the hard work and ignore the hate against change.
