Add tracking number to the frontend

and if the user can see tracking numbers on my website, will they be able to click track and view the tracking information also on my website without having to retype their email & Order ID?

Hi @haydenng664 sure, let me explain how it works

The tracking information widget with a link to track the order is added to the View Order endpoint and will display in the account area in the View order endpoint which will also display if you use the WooCommerce order tracking shortcode.

In order to show the view order page you can set a link with the order key and ID from the order email but this will require custom development.

Had a look at the documentation but still got some questions.

Does using the shortcode show the tracking status as in the courier tracking website? For example Item dispatched to… , item delivered.. those kind of info.

And even when the user is logged in, does he needs to fill in the email address and order id to use the shortcode order tracking form?

I’m finding the best way to display tracking status on the website without having to go to the courier website to track.
